The Results Are In!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have graded the first tests and they will be going home with students on Tuesday. I was very happy with the students’ performance on this first test and very proud the three students that earned 100%. They will receive a reward coupon that they can use for an extra point on a future assignment, test, or quiz! Great job!

Remember to earn and I.O.U. from Mrs. Efird’s homeroom, simply return your survey form that went home on Friday. The I.O.U. is worth an extra point on a future assignment, quiz, or test!

We will be starting word stems this week. Please look for the list of stems and words that we will be working on to come home.(They also came home at open house.) Students need to study these stems and words and understand the definitions of each of them. I am not requiring that students study these each night but we will be having frequent quizzes and activities that will use them and I don’t want anyone to fall behind.

Remember if you have any questions please text or email me :)

First Day of School!

I had so much fun today! I gave the first quiz of the year and the students did pretty well :) In case it is still in a locker or stuffed under a desk I will tell you that it was a quiz about Mrs. Efird. It was a silly way to tell the students a little about myself.

Please remember to fill out all the forms that went home in the yellow  or manilla folders and return them by Friday. We are giving a free 100% in each subject.
